Furniture and Clothing Program
We offer clothing and furniture to people in
need in Lorain County. We do not have income requirements for these programs. However, we encourage clients to seek employment or educational resources. We will help connect our client to the resources available in
the community if the person is interested. We do not charge for any items distributed through these programs.
Clothing Program
Our clothing program is available to anyone
of any age, regardless of if they have a child or not. We also offer coats, scarves, gloves, and shoes. We have dress clothes for interviews as well. We try and provide a few outfits to each person. The actual
amount of clothing given is dependent on our inventory in the size requested. We do not give out stained or ripped clothing. With our office location we are now able to allow clients to come in and choose their own
clothes.
We also have clothing Come and Get It days at
various times through out the year. These days are offered to allow a large number of people to come and choose needed clothing at one time. All clothing is given without charge and is reserved for people in need.
At times we are also able to provide
furniture, but not consistently. We advise people to call us and listen to the message to find out if we have any of the items they need. We update this regularly.
