General Services
These are the general services we provide. We are currently servicing Lorain County in Ohio for
distribution of clothing and furniture items. If we know of another resource within Lorain County that would be helpful we will also refer to that agency. If you know of someone outside of Lorain County that could
use our furniture or clothing services, please contact us.
PickUp Program - Clothing and Furniture
We help with items such as clothing, sheets, pots and pans, dressers,
tables and the like. We do not require a referral from an agency. Anyone in Lorain County that needs our services are welcome to contact us. We encourage all clients to be employed, seeking employment, seeking
education or currently in an educational program. We know of many resources in the community that we can offer to clients looking to make a change in their lives. We also strive to find needs that are not being met
and find a way to meet them. Many times a friendly helping hand can make the process easier. We are available to help clients make a step toward the future. We encourage volunteers of all ages that are interested in
helping others in their community.
We are in need of items for the community
We are looking for clothing, shoes, bedding, curtains, furniture items (couches, mattresses,
dining room tables) and kitchen items such as dishes and pans. A full list of our current requested donations is located on our donate page. Please contact us if you have items you'd like to donate. As spring is coming, many people clean out their homes of items they no longer need. We could use those items and would appreciate your donation. Our organization is committed to using each donation to its fullest capacity.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Programs
Camp Pride Life will be starting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender
support groups and programs for the community in Lorain County and west. We encourage people to come out and find support in others. More information on these will be added to our LGBT services page. Please check back often for events and support group times.
We are currently accepting donation items and volunteers.
Our organization is run by volunteers and these volunteers are vital
to our daily operations. These people are just like you. There are tons of things we need done that do not require transportation or money and yet would help us out tremendously. Our organization survives on word of
mouth and donation items from people in the community. There are many ways to volunteer and we would greatly appreciate the valued donation of your time. Volunteering can also strengthen the community and your
